Volunteer at Triple H Equitherapy Center and share in the joy of seeing the miraculous healing of equine assisted therapy. All volunteers who assist in the program as horse handlers or as side walkers are trained using the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA) standards.
Side Walker
Walk along side the horse to provide an ever-present safety net for each rider.
Horse Handler
Assist with grooming, tacking and controling a horse to ensure the safe instruction of the rider.
Partners/Mentors
Horse handlers can become Senior Partners in the From Fear to Responsibility program as they are teamed with at-risk youth as personal confidants, as well as horse care and riding coaches.
Ranch Hands
Opportunities here include fixing fence, mucking stalls, painting, spreading sand and ground cover, bailing and stacking hay, cutting grass, clearing trails and all other ranch duties.
Bunkhouse/Office
Inside volunteer opportunities include assisting in the office, data entry, special event coordination, stuffing envelopes, and other odd jobs.
Horse Care
Help feed, tack, groom and otherwise help provide tender loving care for our prized equine therapy staff.
